Can you please fix an inappropriate hotel listing in your search engine?

Q. There is another hotel in my area, sharing the same brand, and with a similar, yet "Specifically" different name. This other property is using our Choice Hotels⢠"Official" name in its listing. It specifies a town, within their hotel title, that they are not in. This property is listed as Comfort Suites-Eugene, but is actually located in Springfield. When guests search for the correct Comfort Suites Eugene through your search engine, they are confused. The "True" Comfort Suites ~ Eugene, is the last listing on page three of the search: "Hotels in Eugene Oregon" (#64).

Can you please correct the inappropriate title listing? Thank you.

A. Are you serious? Who are you talking to? We are not a search engine.

What is it called when companies own numerous stores?

Q. For example Gap owns Old Navy and Banana Republic;
Sears owns K-mart.

There are also other types of companies that do this like Choice Hotels.

Or can you name any others?

A. Parent company

Can you earn hotel reward points or frequent flyer miles if you book your flight/hotel from a travel website?

Q. If you book your hotel/flight at, say, travelocity.com, will you still be able to earn your frequent flyer miles (like Delta Sky Miles program) and hotel reward points (like the Choice Hotels program)? At a travel website there might be a better deal than on the hotel's/airline's website, so what do you do to still earn miles/points?

A. Yes, you can enter it...

once u get the confirmation number from travelocity go to delta.com and you can enter your skymiles number and view your reservation there. you can also supply them when you check in.

even if you forget to enter if before your flight, if you save your boarding pass, you can still get credit. i NEVER book from online sites because they have sneaky booking fees that end up making their 'cheaper' price go above what the airline is charging and it makes it harder to re-book should u need to
